I'm not really on here very often, but seeing a three year old journal was making me a little sad. So here's a shiny new journal entry for 2014 just to spruce this place up a little bit. I don't really do many large art projects anymore because my life is consumed with school, but I might post some of the digital stuff I've been working on if I'm not too busy.

Hi, this is Sydney. Remember me? Probs not, that's okay. I've kind of been swamped by the first quarter of college and have thus accomplished almost nothing artistic in the past three months. But now I'm home for winter break, so expect a drawing or two. I miss things like free time.

I am about a month away from graduation.
I am going to the University of Chicago for sure next fall.
This summer, I would like to learn to draw birds.
And make origami.
And sew.
